Candles have been a part of human culture for hundreds of years.

We originally used them for heat and light, but over the last few decades, candles have developed into luxury products that are used to fragrance our homes and enhance our wellbeing experience.

As the number of available candle types and sizes grow, it becomes extremely important for a consumer to know they are getting a high-quality candle both in terms of aesthetics but also in terms of safety.

Candles come in all sorts of sizes, from tealights that are a few grams to centrepiece statement candles that can be a few kilos. All of these candles present different challenges from a safety perspective.
