Open Innovation Manager - Remote – Open Salary

Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic business within the Beauty and Personal Care Industry who are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Open Innovation Manager to join their team!

The role is remote based but requires to travel to South East England 4 days a month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with external partners in the EU, identifying and integrating innovative solutions aligned with global objectives.
  • Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to drive turn-key solutions for product and process innovation.
  • Own and manage the portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader R&D and strategic goals.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to streamline the innovation process.
  • Actively manage high-impact partnerships in line with Global R&D Strategy.
  • Implement the Open Innovation program in the EU with consistent best practices.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 10 years’ experience working in Open Innovation & with a Strong European innovation network.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Life Sciences
  • Extensive R&D management experience in the FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care sector.
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate with external partners, ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, and proficiency in IP management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, proficiency in multiple European languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
